Library & Research

Library
The TLA Courthouse Library is situated in a unique and beautiful architectural space, with a mandate to provide legal research resources to all members of the Bar in Ontario, the Judiciary, and articling students.
Located at the 361 University Ave. courthouse, the library provides:
- A comprehensive, up-to-date, collection of print and electronic resources
- Professional staff to provide a full range of assistance, from collection use to substantive legal research
- A quiet, private space in the busy courthouse environment, away from courtrooms and offices
A rich history
The library has been in its current location since September 1966, but its history extends back to 1885, when the Association was first formed.
Photocopying and Fax Services
Subject to copyright restrictions, you can photocopy materials in the library yourself, or ask the library staff to make copies for you. Pick them up at the reception desk, or have them faxed, mailed or emailed directly to your office. These services are available for a fee.
