  • Retrieve a profile on an expert witness
  • Use Practice Guides and Commentary to retrieve expert annotations of rules and commentary
  • Determine what your client’s claim is worth by searching a Quantum Service
  • Use the Current Awareness tools to access timely updates on cases and legislation
  • Noting up cases/decision and legislation using KeyCite Canada
  • Using our Federated and Plain Language Searching functionality
  • Using Folders to organize and share

Register to attend a free demo and instruction session on LexisNexis Legal Research solutions.  This session will cover Family Law resources in the Lexis Advance Quicklaw and Practice Advisor databases.

Advance Quicklaw provides in-depth coverage of a specific area of practice.  Learn about resources such as textbooks, treatises and Quantums.

Practice Advisor provides the resources and tools needed to efficiently manage tasks, stay up to date on legal information, and get a head start on drafting.

The training will cover:

  • the Lexis Advance Quicklaw Family Law section, which includes material on domestic contracts and separation agreements, marital property, custody and access, and more
  • Quantums – spousal support, child support, and matrimonial property
  • Digests & Netletters – indexed collections of case summaries in all areas of Family Law
  • Quicklaw’s topic classification feature – faster retrieval of relevant documents using the browsing feature
  • Lexis Practice Advisor's extensive collection of Family Law forms & precedents
